Goodmorning Green Smoothie

I’m currently obsessed with my peanut butter mocha smoothie. It’s my go-to post workout breakfast.
Peanut butter, bananas, cocoa, and coffee... Can there be a better flavor combo?! Not for me!
With the addition of chia and (TONS) of spinach, this smoothie is packed with everything you need to start the day:
protein (18 grams)
fiber (14 grams)
iron, vitamins, minerals… blah, blah, blah
It’s dessert for breakfast in my book.
I tried this in an old school blender this weekend, and let me tell you the difference was drastic! You need a high-quality/high power blender to get the best tasting smoothies with just the right consistency.
12oz cold water
3-4 handfuls of spinach
1 Tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp cocoa
1 tsp instant coffee (decaf or caf)
4 Tbsp peanut butter powder
1 frozen ripe banana, cut into chunks (if you don’t have one frozen, just throw in a banana and add a handful of ice)
Place all ingredients in blender in the order above, blend on high for 1 minute. (You may need to use a tamper to get the party started.)
