Breakfast Chia Pudding


Chia is a tiny but mighty seed loaded with fiber, good-for-you fat, protein, and tons of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It doesn’t have much flavor, just a subtle nuttiness, so it can be added to anything from salads and smoothies to… pudding!


You can eat them raw (providing a nice crunch to your dish) or soak them in your milk of choice with a few other ingredients et voila, pudding!


A great (and healthy) treat for breakfast, snack or dessert.


Here’s one variation of our morning chia pudding:


INGREDIENTS:

🔲1/4 c chia seeds

🔲1 c milk of your choice

🔲2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

🔲1 Tbsp sweetener of choice (we use brown sugar. You can adjust this up or down to your taste)

🔲1 tsp pure vanilla extract

🔲1 tsp cinnamon

🔲Pinch salt

🔲Fruit, granola or nuts for serving


DIRECTIONS:

✅In a medium bowl, whisk all ingredients to combine.

✅Cover and refrigerate until thick, 2 hours up to overnight.
