Cilantro Lime Crema

This cilantro lime crema is zesty, refreshing, light, and muy


A lighter take on a traditional Mexican crema, it's made with only 4 ingredients but can be used in so many ways from a topping on a taco or burrito to a salad dressing or even dip.

Can this be made vegan? Yup.

What if I want some heat? Sure!

Is it allergen friendly? It can be!

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream (plant based/dairy free if needed)

  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves

  • 1 lime, zested and juiced

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt, more to taste


  • Place all ingredients in a blender, food processor, or immersion blender and blend until smooth.

  • It's best to refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld, but you can certainly serve it right away!
