Ginger Lemon Smoothie
I'm not saying this Ginger Lemon Smoothie will cure the common cold, but it will def give you all those healthy, feel good vibes! This tastes like a tropical ginger lemon creamsicle, need we say more?
It's refreshing, bright, and creamy with the perfect balance of sweetness. And just check out the whole food plant-based ingredient list: lemon, ginger, passion fruit, chia, soy milk, peaches, mango. And no added sugar!
1/3 cup frozen passion fruit
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 lemon, peeled (no need to get rid of seeds if you have a high powered blender)
1 1/2 cup original soy milk, or milk of choice
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, peeled (about the size of your thumb)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Add all ingredients in the order listed to a high speed blender and blend for 1 minute until completely smooth, adding more liquid (soy milk or just a little water) if you would like a thinner consistency.
