Vanilla Cinnamon Energy Balls

I. AM. OBSESSED. with energy balls! They are our new go-to snack and even breakfast. The kids love to eat them and help me make them.

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (plus extra for coating)

  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup nut butter or sunflower butter

  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey


  • Grind oats in a food processor then add all other ingredients and quickly pulse them until mixed. If you don't have a food processor, don't worry! You can just combine all these ingredients and form the balls, you will just get a different textured ball - but equally yummy!

  • You might need to add more honey or nut butter if the batter gets to dry.

  • Roll into 1-1.5 inch balls and place on a cookie tray or plastic ware with parchment paper underneath.

  • Let them freeze for 20-30 minutes then transfer into a Ziploc bag.

  • Dust with additional cinnamon and vanilla protein if desired.

  • Keep in fridge or freezer for up to 6 weeks.
